Access to healthcare goods and services is a complex, global challenge with direct impact on patient outcomes. Poor infrastructure, difficult terrain, limited transportation resources, and traffic congestion introduce barriers to effective healthcare in many regions of the world. Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, also known as drones) are increasingly recognized as a solution to overcome these challenges and can provide low-cost deliveries between communities autonomously."
